  • 1 (18 oz bottle) Kraft Sweet Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 (20oz can) Pineapple Slices in 100% Juice, juice reserved
  • 8 Oscar Mayer Classic Uncured Wieners
  • 8 Arnold Country Sliced Hot Dog Buns

Grilled Pineapple Cucumber Salsa

  • ½ cup cucumber, finely diced
  • ½ cup red onion, finely diced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, finely diced
  • ½ juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. Prepare your grill for indirect heat. This means creating a cooler zone on one side of the grill for slower cooking, while maintaining a direct heat zone for searing.
  2. Place a small, heat-proof pot onto the grill, ideally on the indirect heat side. Pour in the entire bottle of Kraft Sweet Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce. Add 1/3 cup of the reserved pineapple juice and stir well to combine. Allow this mixture to warm gently, stirring occasionally, and then slide the pot over to the cooler, indirect side of the grill to keep the sauce warm and ready for basting.
  3. Place your Oscar Mayer hot dogs directly over the high heat side of the grill. Immediately begin basting the hot dogs generously with the warm BBQ sauce mixture. Turn the hot dogs frequently to ensure they are thoroughly coated and cook evenly. Continue cooking until they are heated through and have developed a beautiful, caramelized crust.
